Groups

The Women’s Centre runs many special interest groups through the year. Such groups are run with the aim of meeting the needs and achieving positive outcomes for women within the community. Please refer to the Centre’s Newsletter and Bulletin Board for more information on current groups within the Centre.

All groups run according to demand and other groups can be negotiated according to need.

All Groups are Free of Charge, but for some the spaces are limited, so if you are interested in a particular group or workshop be sure to book early.

BBQ

come and enjoy healthy and delicious free food in the company of other women.

First Friday of each Month 12.00 noon - 1.00pm


Bingo and Games Group

Fun group who meet for bingo, to play cards and other games

Paper, fabric, threads, paint and more - learn new creative skills and enjoy the company of other women. Materials supplied.

Homeless Person's Legal Clinic

A FREE service at the Women's Centre by a team of volunteer female lawyers providing confidential respectful advice for :

  • guardianship
  • TICA

Senior Women’s Support Group

This wonderful group of older women meet to enjoy each others company, share information, learn knowledge from guest speakers, go on outings. Transport available to some areas.

Support group for Women who have experienced Domestic Violence;

Runs for seven weeks, with a different topic covered each week.
