The Women’s Centre in partnership with Soroptimist International Townsville Breakwater want to ensure that the vulnerable women of Townsville have access to a safe night’s sleep. Women and children escaping domestic or family violence are without access to safe, affordable and long-term housing. Often women return to a dangerous situation. Major events have made finding accommodation extremely difficult.
It is critical to secure crisis accommodation for women and their children.
All proceeds raised by Safe Nights Townsville will support the work of The Women’s Centre in delivering their Specialist Homelessness Service.
